Projects & issues
Break work down, assign it, and watch it move from idea to shipped.
Projects are where the work happens. Each project gives your team an issue list, a board, a timeline, and a backlog — all the views you need to plan and ship.
Projects
A project usually maps to a product, team, or initiative. Inside a project you get several views of the same work:
- List — a flat, filterable list of issues.
- Board — a kanban board grouped by status.
- Timeline — issues plotted over time.
- Backlog — everything not yet scheduled.
Issues
Issues are the unit of work — a task, bug, or feature. Each issue has a status, an assignee, and can be linked to goals.
Create an issue
From any project view, create an issue with a title and description.
Assign and set a status
Assign it to a teammate and move it through your workflow — for example, Todo → In progress → In review → Done.
Link it to a goal
Connect the issue to a goal so progress rolls up automatically.
Tips
Keep issue titles action-oriented — "Ship calendar sync" reads better on a board than "Calendar".
When an issue is completed, the work counts toward your team's progress and the leaderboard.
